This is the first proper release in a long time and most of the changes are to cope with a new build environment and library updates. There are no real big feature changes, apart from the spell-checking engine and some code improvements.

  1. Hello!

First, I would like to thank you for devoting your time to NoteKeeper. I really like the app, and I learned to rely on it for my daily needs.

I have migrated from Widows to OS X as of late, and though I have VMware’s Fusion running with a couple of virtual WIN 7 images, I have undertaken a drive to see if I can move all of my computing needs to OS X. Therefore, I have a question: do you plan on porting NoteKeeper to to OS X?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

    Marek.

  2. Thanks for your feedback.
I would like to rewrite the user interface (probably using GTK+), but the next big step is to move to a safer, more portable file format (namely SQLite). Once that’s done and the code has been reorganized a bit, then I can start thinking about other platforms.

  3. Guys, this cant open older versions of .nkp!! What if we have tons of information stored in an older format…is there any way to open it?

  4. Please email me more details (support@tolon.co.uk), including what version your files were originally created and the last version that worked ok for you.
